Nubra

Nubra Valley is a high-altitude desert located in the northernmost region of India's Ladakh region, situated at an altitude of around 10,000 feet above sea level. The valley is known for its stunning natural beauty, including towering snow-capped mountains, the confluence of the Shyok and Nubra rivers, and the unique presence of double-humped Bactrian camels.

The valley is also home to several ancient monasteries and gompas, including the well-known Diskit Monastery. Visitors can take part in activities such as camel rides, white-water rafting, kayaking, and trekking. The best time to visit is during the summer months between June and September when the weather is warm and dry, and the roads are open.
